Project 2: Do Something Cool!

This project is pretty open ended. The main requirement is that you have to do something cool, and that it has to relate to animation. You get to pick what the project is (subject to my approval) and who you work with (you are encouraged, but not required to work with a partner. You may have a larger group, but if you have more than 3 people, you must have a plan on what everyone will do).

Some ideas for projects are listed here.

Deadlines:

  • March 23rd, Checkpoint 1: You must send email to me telling me who you will work with, and what you are thinking of working on (rough idea of the topic).
  • March 30th, Checkpoint 2: You must write a 1 page project proposal. You MUST discuss your ideas with me BEFORE writing it up.
  • April 9-13: You must meet with me sometime during the week to discuss you project's progress.
  • April 20: Checkpoint 3: You will be required to give a discussion of your project in class.
  • May 7: Project Due. Your deliverables will include a web page describing your project, all code and video files, ...
  • Sometime during the week of May 7, we will have presentations of class projects. Probably, we will need to schedule a longer session than a class period so we can get everyone in.
