To avoid the mailing list being spammed, subscriptions need to be approved by the list moderator, so be patient please.
The NO. 1 rule in posting on the CPU-CA mailing list is be considerate! Other people's time is as precious as yours. Those who violate this basic rule can be banned from the mailing list.
CPU-CA mailing list is a public forum. Only post information if you think it is potentially interested by a large group of members. For example, we welcome posts regarding job openning or student position openning. But we do not welcome posts about looking for a job or applying for graduate schools in the US. Overly short post without much information should be avoid as well. An example of purely useless post is reply to the OP (original poster) saying "Look, I am the first to reply you!" or "Sofa!".
You are encouraged to ask questions related to computer architecture. But, before you ask, we recommend you skim the online article on how to ask questions:

Some other good reasons for posting on the CPU-CA mailing list include: (1) finding somebody to share a hotel room during major computer architecture conferences, such as ISCA, MICRO, HPCA, and etc.; (2) Organizing get-together events for Chinese researchers during the major conferences.
Both Chinese and English posts are acceptable to the mailing list. Keep in mind, though, many Chinese researchers from north America may not be able to read Chinese for various reasons. Therefore, English post may reach broader audience. We encourage you to use Chinese terminology in your Chinese post so that researchers in US can learn about them. Using Pin1 Yin1 in your post is not recommended. Finally, if you are going to post in Chinese, please make sure that you use correct encoding in your email client.
