Using a “User Log” file

• A UserLog must be specified in your submit file:

  • Log = filename

• You get a log entry for everything that happens to your job:

  • When it was submitted, when it starts executing, if it is checkpointed or vacated, if there are any problems, etc.

• Very useful! Highly recommended!
