condor_shadow
Represents the job on the submit machine
Services requests from “standard” jobs for “remote system calls”, including all file I/O
Is responsible for making decisions on behalf of the job (for example, where to store the checkpoint file)
There will be one condor_shadow process running on your submit machine for each currently running Condor job
