For 838-3, you will be required to write reviews of papers. (The original announcement said 2)

Reviewing a paper is not just a good way to learn about the paper, but also a good way to learn how to write your own. The act of reviewing should force you to think about what makes a paper good or bad.

It doesn't really make sense to use a standard review form for a historical paper. So, for your reviews I've created a modification to the standard SIGGRAPH form.

First, you should look at the standard SIGGRAPH form, and think about using it for the review. You might also consider getting the review forms for conferences and journals in your field.

Then use the form that I created. The questions are designed to match up with the SIGGRAPH ones.
