The peaceful view of a small town is disrupted by the appearance of a large fireball.

A robot, who seems to have come from the fireball, begins smashing homes in the small town.

After being awoken from her nap by the destruction of her village, Gertie the Dinosaur appears from behind a mountain and the confrontation begins.

The robot tries to rid himself of Gertie.
|
|
As Gertie is struck by missles, she is enveloped by a cloud of dust.
|
|
Being unharmed by the missles, Gertie dances with joy.
|
|
The angry robot retaliates but Gertie is simply too powerful. She tosses the robot into a lake, destroying him once and for all.
|
|
Gertie once again dances in joy before lying down to finish her nap.
