They use only back lights, which makes the lamp so dark that it is almost invisible. This conveys the lamp's sad mode. Also the sudden coming wind due to opening the door, makes people feel sad for the lamp's poor destiny.

Shot 5: the girl layes down the lamp
They use a median shot and focus on the lamp, which shows the putting-down action and the lamp's shaking clearly. The girl's body even is not fully shown in the video, which directs people's attenton totally to the lamp, and helps conveying lamp's sadness.

Similar to the shot 10. Besides, the detail that girl pats the head of the new lamp gently, while the old lamp is in the street, makes people feeling sad for the old lamp. And now the girl is going to bed, and there is no hope to take the lamp back home!

Shot 13: the lamp diminishes 
They use a push-away camera motion, which diminishes the lamp. This means the destiny of being abandoned is doomed. What a poor lamp!
