CS638 Fall 2001: Project Stage 1.0

Submission and Grading Information

Due Date: 5pm Friday Oct 19

Submission Information

Ensure that everything you need to compile and run your modified version of Target Arena is stored in some form in your group directory. We might look at it to see how you did various things. Ideally, we would like to be able to go to a directory on a local machine, type "cvs checkout", launch Visual Studio and compile and run your program. If you like, you can store it so that a straight out copy from your group account to the local machine works.

Ultimately, what matters is that it does not take very long to get the thing compiled and you can demonstrate to me that the thing you are compiling comes from your group directory. We will not grade files copied from personal accounts.

Note that there is a late policy for the class (look at the policies page for details.) We will look at the state of the group directories over time to decide when you last touched your files.

Grading Information

The project will be graded by demo. Sign up for a demo slot on the sheet outside Prof Chenney's door, Rm 6387. Demos will be in the week after the project is due, in room B240.

The entire group should be there for the demo. If you fail to show for your demo we can't promise what will happen.

If you cannot make any of the demo slots please send Prof Chenney email.
