One position in Graph Analysis and Machine Learning is available in the Data-Intensive Systems group, Department of Computer Science ( at Aarhus University. The project is in collaboration with an industrial partner, which provides data and know-how.  

The positions is available immediately a should start as soon as possible. 

The Postdoc position is initially offered for 1 year, with possibility of extension up to 2 years after mutual consent. 

Topic: Graph analysis for video or data sequences 

- PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- Proved scientific background and publication record in at least one top-ranked journals or conferences in databases, data mining, machine learning, OR related areas (e.g., information retrieval, semantic web). 
- demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- excellent oral and writting communication skills in English
- good programming skills

Experience in one or more of the following areas: 
- Machine learning
- Knowledge Graphs or semantic web
- Graph data management
- Graph mining
- Recommender systems
Note that the fulfillment of all the above requirements is not mandatory.  

- conduct fundamental and experimental scientific research
- publish in flaghsip international conferences and journals
- participate in discussions, seminars, conferences
- collaborate with our industrial partner
