CONCORDIA, an H2020 funded multi-disciplinary research and innovation project, has established the CONCORDIA WOMEN’s AWARDS to celebrate women in cybersecurity. The awards aim to recognize outstanding women working in cybersecurity and privacy. The prizes intend to encourage young females to continue pursuing their careers in cybersecurity and also praise prominent women for their outstanding contributions and achievements.
CONCORDIA WOMEN’s AWARDS will cover different areas of the cybersecurity ecosystem, as detailed below.
CONCORDIA WOMEN’s AWARD on RESEARCH
To promote women at different stages of their careers, the CONCORDIA WOMEN’s prize on Research includes three categories: Master Award, Ph.D. Award, and Early Career Award
Female Master Student Award
The prize is intended to recognize young female master students interested in topics related to cybersecurity and privacy.
Eligibility:
At the time of submission, the applicant has to be enrolled at a Master program in a University located in one of the member state of EU or candidate countries to join European Union.
Female Ph.D. student Award
The prize is intended to recognize outstanding female students doing their Ph.D. on topics related to cybersecurity and privacy.
Eligibility:
At the time of submission, the applicant has to be enrolled at a Ph.D. program in an University located in one of the member state of EU or candidate countries to join European Union.
Early Career Women Researcher
The prize is intended to recognize outstanding female researchers, at the early stage of their career, working on topics related to cybersecurity and privacy.
Eligibility:
The applicant has to be employed in a research center, industry or University located in one of the member state of EU or candidate countries to join European Union, and no more than 5 years have to be passed from her PhD discussion.
Submission and deadline
All application materials must be submitted via email to womenincyber@concordia-h2020.eu starting from 23th April 2021 to 18th June 2021. All material must be submitted in English, PDF format is preferred. Awards notifications will be delivered by 4 weeks from the deadline.
