(Apologies for Cross-Posting) Starting Fall 2021, a postdoctoral researcher position is available for a DoD funded research project under the supervision of Dr. Senjuti Basu Roy in the Big Data Analytics Laboratory (https://centers.njit.edu/bdal/node/62/) at the Computer Science Department of the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The goal of this position is to develop data management and applied machine learning solutions and develop web-based dashboards to quantitatively achieve CNO availability process milestones. Qualifications: Applicants must have strong background in data management and algorithm design, data mining, applied machine learning, as well as equipped to implement web-based software and dashboards. Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in naval applications. The position is open to graduating Ph.D. students in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline. Citizens and green card holders are preferred for this position. Durations: Appointment is initially for 1 year. The position can be extended for two more years at the end of the first year based on performance.
