Starting Fall 2021, a postdoctoral researcher position is available for a DoD funded research project under the supervision of Dr. Senjuti Basu Roy in the Big Data Analytics Laboratory (https://centers.njit.edu/bdal/node/62/) at the Computer Science Department of the New Jersey Institute of Technology. The goal of this position is to develop data management and applied machine learning solutions and develop web-based dashboards to quantitatively achieve CNO availability process milestones.

Qualifications: Applicants must have strong background in data management and algorithm design, data mining, applied machine learning, as well as equipped to implement web-based software and dashboards. Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience in naval applications. The position is open to graduating Ph.D. students in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline. Citizens and green card holders are preferred for this position.

Durations: Appointment is initially for 1 year. The position can be extended for two more years at the end of the first year based on performance. Stipends are commensurate with research experience and education.

As such, it is the largest generator of computing talent in the tri-state (NY, NJ, CT) area.
