The ECIR 2021 conference is the major European conference devoted to research on information retrieval, broadly understood to include tasks such as search, recommendation, question answering, filtering, classification, clustering, etc., as performed on media such as text, Web pages, spoken text, images, music, and video.

ECIR 2021 has a rich program consisting of


    - 2 full-day tutorials, 6 half-day tutorials, and a doctoral
    consortium (Sunday, 28 March)

    - 3 Keynote talks, 50 full paper presentations, 11 presentations
    from the “reproducibility track”, 7 presentations of papers recently
    published in the Information Retrieval Journal, 39 poster
    presentations of short papers, 15 demos, and 12 presentations of
    CLEF 2021 Labs (Monday, 29 March to Wednesday, 31 March)

    - A panel on Open Access Literature and IR (Wednesday, 31 March)

    - 5 thematic workshops and an industry day (Thursday, April 1)
