FDSE 2021: Call for Papers

The 8th International Conference on Future Data and Security Engineering - FDSE 2021 (LNCS & CCIS/Springer Verlag)

November 24-26, 2021, blended mode (online & offline) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

Precaution of COVID-19

Due to ongoing uncertainty about future travel due to COVID-19, FDSE 2021 commits to allowing remote presentations of accepted papers by authors who are unable to attend in order to overcome travel restrictions.

FDSE is an annual international forum designed for researchers, scientists, and practitioners interested in state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice activities in data, information, knowledge, and security engineering to explore cutting-edge ideas, to present and exchange their research results, and advanced data-intensive applications, as well as to discuss emerging issues on data, information, knowledge, and security engineering. At the annual FDSE, the researchers and practitioners are not only able to share research solutions to problems of today's data and security engineering themes, but are also able to identify new issues and directions for future related research and development work.

After the last seven successful events, FDSE 2014 and FDSE 2015 (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), FDSE 2016 (Can Tho City, Vietnam), FDSE 2017 and FDSE 2018 (Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam), FDSE 2019 (Nha Trang City, Vietnam), FDSE 2020 (Virtual/QNU-Binh Dinh Province, Vietnam), FDSE 2021 will be held from November 24-26, 2021, in a blended mode in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

All accepted papers will be published by Springer Verlag in one of the following volumes:

- Lecture Notes in Computer Science series (LNCS): The LNCS from Springer is a well-known series of computer science books that covers research and development from all areas of computer science. Further details of the list of forthcoming proceedings that will be published in LNCS can be found at

- Communications in Computer and Information Science (CCIS): The CCIS series is devoted to the publication of proceedings of computer science conferences. Its aim is to efficiently disseminate original research results in informatics in printed and electronic forms. More details about this series can be referred at

Previous FDSE Proceedings have been indexed in Scopus, EI Compendex, DBLP, and listed in Conference Proceeding Citation Index (CPCI) of Thomson Reuters. FDSE 2021 proceedings will also be submitted to those indexing systems. Selected papers, after further revision and extension, will be considered for publication in special issues of the prestigious international journals (see the conference website for the latest updates).
