University of Nebraska-Omaha: Postdoc in machine learning, text analytics, computer vision

The Data Driven Material Discovery for Bioengineering Innovation Project supervised by Prof. Parvathi Chundi, Computer Science department, College of Information Science and Technology, University of Nebraska-Omaha, is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate in the areas of machine learning, text analytics, or computer vision to support material discovery and bioengineering innovation. The major research focus is on developing machine learning methods to analyze the massive amounts of data to support speedy discovery of new material properties, materials, and material-biofilm interactions. 

* Ph.D degree in computer science, computer engineering, statistics, or in a related discipline.
* Proficiency in Python ML tools and/or Matlab.
* Experience working with large data sets.
* Ability to work as a part of a team or individually, and mentor students.
* Good communication skills.
