The Research Institute of Sciences and Engineering (RISE) at the University of Sharjah, UAE has an opening for a full-time Post-Doctoral Fellow position in Machine Learning & Natural Language Processing. We seek a candidate, with a strong research record in machine learning and deep learning. The successful candidate shall strengthen the profile of MLALP research group in an area within natural language processing, speech recognition, deep learning and text mining, and applications in higher-level NLP (on the Arabic language), such as text summarization, irony detection, question answering, argument mining, etc. We also welcome applications from researchers who apply results from machine learning and deep learning to other fields of computing such as bioinformatics.
