Description: We are looking for one postdoc research fellow and one research engineer at School of Information System in Singapore Management University (SMU). Successful candidates will work with Prof. Yuchen Li (SMU) and Prof. Bingsheng He (NUS) to develop high performance parallel graph processing algorithms and systems. Our research group is currently working on large-scale graph processing challenges with industry collaborators like Alibaba and DBS Bank, e.g., fraud detection using graphs with billions of nodes and edges. The research outcome is expected to produce high-quality publications in top database/data mining venues. Preferred Starting Date (Negotiable): Jan 1st, 2021 Contract Duration: 2 years with possible extension. Research Fellow Salary: SGD6000-8000/month with 2-month performance bonus Research Engineer Salary: SGD3500-4500/month with 2-month performance bonus Requirements for Research Fellow: 1. PhD in Computer Science. 2. Strong background on graph algorithms and/or parallel/distributed computing. Knowledge in GPU programming is a plus. 3. Demonstrated coding experience in C/C++/CUDA or Java. Experience with neural network framework such as TensorFlow is a plus. 4. Publication records in related top-tier conferences and journals. 5. Excellent writing and communication skills. Requirements for Research Engineer: 1. Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science. 2. Solid background on algorithm design. Experience with graph algorithms or parallel computing is a plus. 3. Demonstrated coding experience in C/C++ or Java. Experience with neural network framework such as TensorFlow is a plus. 4.
