Responsibilities - Develop, implement, and perform natural language processing (NLP) on free-text medical notes and reports to enhance clinical decisions and clinical decision support systems - Mine health care data to enhance sharing of information across electronic health records (EHRs) and to support communication between care teams - Mine health care data for digital phenotype definitions of clinical conditions and evidence-based care or risk prediction - Apply standard terminologies and ontologies for representing patient data (clinical and social determinants of health) - Prepare and disseminate research findings. Prepare and submit manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals, preparing presentations and posters for research symposia Required Qualifications PhD in Biomedical Informatics, computer science, information and data science or related field received within the past 3 years. Familiarity with health care data. Experience of working in interdisciplinary teams. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
