The Institute of Computer Science at University of Bonn is seeking applications for a tenured W2-Professorship in Data Science and Intelligent Systems with focus area in at least one of the following topics:
 
+ Scalable Algorithms and Systems for Data Management Data Driven 
+ Analysis and Machine Learning Algorithms Artificial Intelligence 
+ Applications and Systems

The professorship carries out excellent research in the above areas and is expected to offer a program of teaching in computer science that comprises both fundamental topics in databases and information systems as well as specialized lectures at both bachelor (in German) and master level (in English). The acquisition of research funds and the willingness to participate in cooperative research proposals of the computer science faculty and Bonn is highly desirable, as is close cooperation with our partner institutions such as b-it and Fraunhofer.
