The Big Data Research Center, Henan University Position ID: Henan University-The Big Data Research Center-POSTDOC Position Title: Postdoctoral Fellow Position Location: KaiFeng, Henan, China Subject Area: Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition Application Deadline: (until December 31st, 2019) Position Description Three postdoctoral positions are immediately available at the research group (The Big Data Research Center) of Prof. Chongsheng Zhang and Prof. George Almpanidis at Henan University of China. Requirements/Qualifications 1. The successful candidates should hold a PhD degree in machine learning/data mining, or computer vision/pattern recognition, or other related fields. 2. At the time of appointment, the applicants must graduate within the last 2 years and should be no more than 35 years old in age. 3. The applicant should have good publication records in the above-mentioned fields. 4. Programming skills and knowledge of deep learning frameworks (tensorflow, pytorch) would be appreciated, but not mandatory. Duration of the contract The duration of the contract is 36 months, which can be extended up to 48 months. Salary a) The monthly income of the Postdoctoral researcher is around 18,000 RMB (2300 EUR at the current exchange rate) before tax (the tax ratio is about 3%-10%), paid by the University.
