TU Berlin Post-Doc Initiative for Outstanding Female Researchers

Between 2013 and 2018 the International Post-Doc Initiative (IPODI) of the Technische Universität Berlin awards 21 two-year fellowships to international female researchers in three internationally open calls. IPODI is part of an initiative (Wissenschaftlerinnen an die Spitze) that aims at increasing the number of women in leadership positions. IPODI addresses outstanding female researchers regardless of their nationality .

The first call for applications is open until January 15, 2014. Further calls will follow in 2014 and 2015.

IPODI is co-funded by the Marie Curie Programme of the European Union (Co-funding of Regional, National, and International Programmes).

Area of Work
The data management group at Technische Universität Berlin conducts research in big data analytics, information
marketplaces and new hardware architectures for information management.


Requirements:
Applicants should have completed a PhD in database systems, and have the zeal to work in a leading research environment at the forefront of technology innovation, interested in building systems and putting research results into practical use.
