The NSF offers graduate fellowships in many areas including computer science. The fellowship is a 3 year fellowship. Be sure to check the eligibility requirements. The application can be found here and is usually due in November.
The NDSEG offers a 3 year fellowship which is available to computer science graduate students. There are certain eligibility criteria that you must meet in order to be considered. The application can be found here and is usually due in December.
The AT&T fellowship program offers a 3 year fellowship which is available to underrepresented minorities and women in computer science. The eligibility requirements can be found here. The application is located here and is usually due in January.
The Hertz fellowship offers a variety of fellowship lengths including 3 and 5 years. The application is available here and their eligibility criteria can be found here.
The AAUW fellowships are provided by the American Association of University Women. The fellowships aim to help women from all over the world break through barriers and pursue their dreams of obtaining graduate degrees or making an impact in their communities. NPSC's goal is to increase the number of American citizens with graduate degrees in the physical sciences and related engineering fields, emphasizing recruitment of a diverse applicant pool including women and minorities. NPSC offers 2 kinds of fellowships, a "traditional" fellowship for graduate studies and a dissertation fellowship. Through its Fellowship Programs, the Ford Foundation seeks to increase the diversity of the nation's college and university faculties by increasing their ethnic and racial diversity, to maximize the educational benefits of diversity, and to increase the number of professors who can and will use diversity as a resource for enriching the education of all students.
