Supported Department Printer Configurations
The Computer Systems Lab has standardized on several printer configurations to reduce costs and provide better support. Due to availability of various models, users are encourage to contact the CSL to confirm current availability and pricing before ordering. All printer purchases should be coordinated with the CSL. Users are responsible for ink supplies for inkjet (DeskJet) printers and toner for laser printers. - Discontinued model.
- Model letter suffixes: 'D' for duplexer, 'N' for network interface installed.
- Model letter suffixes: 'T' for twin-tray paper feed, 'N' for network interface installed.
- PostScript to PCL translation handled by GhostScript on our central print server.
- Network scan-to-email available with this model.
Approximate Prices For Supported Printer Configurations
Contact the CSL for quotes on current printer options. Many of the Lanier/Ricoh products--especially copier/multi-function devices--are available for purchase or lease with cost-per-copy maintenance plans. HP and Xerox printer options are available for purchase only.What If I Want A Printer That's Not On The List?
Contact the CSL with details on why you want that particular printer and with what systems you intend to use it. Other printers will be handled on a case-by-case PRE-PURCHASE basis. |
