About the meeting
Condor Week is a four day annual event that gives Condor collaborators and users the chance to exchange ideas and experiences, to learn about latest research, to experience live demos, and to influence our short and long term research and development directions. This years meeting takes place from Monday, April 24 to Thursday, April 27.The deadline for registration is Monday, April 10th, 2006. The conference fee is $275 and covers breakfasts, lunches, snacks, and conference materials.
Call for Talks
We hope that members of the Condor community will be interested in giving talks for Condor Week 2006. We're interested in how you use Condor, what you use Condor for, and what you think about Condor. If you are interested in giving a talk, please Contact Miron Livny (miron at cs.wisc.edu) and Alain Roy (roy at cs.wisc.edu). Deadline for talk proposals: March 1, 2006.
Condor Enterprise Users Group
The Condor Enterprise Users Group will hold their first face-to-face meeting during Condor Week on Monday, 24-Apr from 9am to noon in rooms 216/218 of the Fluno Center. This group is for enterprise users who wish to share best practices, discuss business-specific challenges and solutions, and discuss enterprise class enhancements that all enterprise users could benefit from. This group also has a mailing list. If you would like more information, contact Brooklin Gore: bgore at micron.com.
Local Arrangements
The tutorials and the technical program will be held at the Fluno Center on the University of Wisconsin campus. On the final day of the event, BOF's will be held at the Fluno Center while certain demos will be held at in the Computer Science Department.
