We know that you have more important things to do than deal with bugs. Even with just a modem, you can participate in this project without worrying that feedback reporting will get in your way.
A fully resolved report is huge, but you never send that to us. You just send the raw samples report, compressed for transit. Because sampling is sparse, this dump is nearly all zeros and therefore it compresses very well. A typical Gaim report is about 12KB compressed: one second to upload over a 56K modem. More complex applications have larger reports, but even Evolution sends just 20KB: two seconds to upload over a 56K modem.
